Wake



1. To emerge from a state of sleep.
2. To hold a vigil beside (someone who has died).

Like the double entendre of its title, “Wake” is one part of a two-spirited project:
a play and a film.

The play premiered off broadway at 59E59 Theaters in Fall 2025.
The film is a “day in the life” glimpse of the theatre company at work.
